Repository Policy

Doctors In Business Journal supports the responsible self-archiving of scholarly work and recognizes that many authors wish to deposit their papers in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, or other trusted archives of their choice. Our policy is designed to promote broad access to research while preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.

Submitted Version
Authors may deposit the submitted version of their manuscript in a repository at any time. The submitted version is the original manuscript sent to the journal before peer review. When sharing this version, authors should clearly indicate that it has not yet been peer reviewed and should not be treated as the final published record.

Accepted Version (Author Accepted Manuscript)
Authors may deposit the accepted version of their paper in a repository after it has successfully completed peer review and been formally accepted for publication. This version may be shared with appropriate acknowledgment of the journal and should include a note stating that it is the author accepted manuscript and not the final published version. Where applicable, authors should also include a link to the published article once available.

Published Version (Version of Record)
The published version of record may also be deposited or shared. When the version of record is posted in a repository, it must retain the full citation to the journal publication and should not be altered in a way that misrepresents the final published article. Authors are encouraged to link directly to the journal’s official version whenever possible to ensure accurate citation and access.

All repository deposits should preserve the integrity of the work, credit the original authors and journal. Doctors In Business Journal encourages archiving that supports discovery, long-term preservation, and wider scholarly impact while maintaining the official version of record as the authoritative publication copy.
